LAURA OVERTON
Managing Director, Towards Maturity
Laura is the MD of Towards Maturity – a not for profit benchmark practice that provides independent research and resources for anyone interested in improving the impact of learning technologies at work. With over 2 decades of experience of implementing learning technologies in the workplace, she works with government policy makers representing employer interests and has contributed to initiatives associated with the UK’s Sector Skills Councils, and the European Commission.
DONALD H TAYLOR
Chairman, The Learning and Performance Institute
Donald is a 25 year veteran of the learning, skills and human capital industries with experience at every level from design and delivery to chairman of the board. He has been chairman of the LPI since 2010. A recognised commentator and organiser in the fields of workplace learning and learning technologies, Donald is passionately committed to helping develop the learning and development profession. His background ranges from training delivery, to director and vice-president positions in software companies.
CLIVE SHEPHERD
Learning Technologist, Onlignment Ltd
Clive is a learning and development specialist, with a particular interest in the applications of media and technology to learning at work. In a career spanning more than 35 years, Clive has headed up a corporate training function, co-founded a leading multimedia development business and operated as an independent consultant operating worldwide.
STELLA COLLINS
Director, Stellar Learning
Stella is a learning specialist with insights from a unique combination of psychology, computer programming and training. Her aim is to inspire the creation of amazing learning and communication experiences. Stella is currently writing a book on neuroscience for trainers.
IAN ROSS

Ian has worked in HR Learning and Development as well as eLearning since graduating from Aberdeen University and has also previously worked as a trainer in IT.

Liggy is a best selling author and international consultant specialising in behavioural skills. She works with the United Nations and travels to various worldwide locations. Liggy is also the founding director of The Learning Architect, an international consortium of behavioural skills specialists. She is recognised as a thought leader on resilience and is regularly asked to be a keynote speaker across private and public sector.
MARTYN ADAMS
Blended Learning Development Manager, Richmond Fellowship
Martyn’s professional background is Mental Health Nursing. He has worked in the sector for 30 years in various guises and locations. He joined Richmond Fellowship (RF) in 2002 and worked as a manager in a Care Home with Nursing for 3 years. He joined the RF Learning & Development team in 2005 and he is currently employed in the role of Blended Learning Development Manager.
KEITH MOGFORD
Development Director, Skills Platform, Skills for Health
Keith joined Skills for Health in July 2014 having previously led Skills Effect, the skills body for the voluntary and charity sector. He is leading the development of the Skills Platform, as it has transferred to Skills for Health ownership.
ANDY LANCASTER
Head of Learning and Development, CIPD
Andy has more than 25 years experience in learning and organisational development in commercial, technological and not for profit organisations and has also worked in a consultancy role. In January, 2014 Andy was appointed as Head of Learning and Development at CIPD to run the Institute’s training arm and support the delivery of the wider new vision for L&D. Andy is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD), a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI) and a Member of the Learning and Performance Institute (MLPI).
