It was a great day at the Members’ Seminar on 3rd September with some great sessions on engaging learners, compliance, networking and fantastic case study pieces from Cats Protection and VSO. We hope you felt that you had enough time to catch up with each other and network. Thanks to all of you who came along and also to those of you who gave us your valuable feedback and if you can think of anything you would like to see at the session or would like to provide a presentation from your organisation, please contact Harri.
Here are some of the slides as well as a brief update for those members who couldn’t come along – we hope you will join us next time.

CLC Awards and Conference 2015
Gill Chester gave members a whistle stop session on how to submit an entry for the Charity Learning Awards.
The awards are designed to celebrate your eLearning journeys. They provide Charity Learning Consortium members with the opportunity to showcase achievements and take time for reflection.
We are looking to hear success stories and examples of best practice within Learning and Development and eLearning. From experience, we know members are at very different stages in their journeys however we believe that there is knowledge to be shared no matter how far you have come and even if the results weren’t exactly what you anticipated.
You will find Gill’s slides here: http://www.slideshare.net/charitylearning/clc-members-seminar-september-2015-clc-awards-and-conference-2015

Quizzes and Completions
Members ‘got technical’ with Ian as he took them through the steps required to replace the SCORM quizzes on their sites with Moodle quizzes. We had mixed reviews for this workshop and your feedback has highlighted that we need to look into providing a beginner and intermediate workshop in Moodle. Members also mentioned that they would like more ‘How to’ style workshops at the Member Seminars so we will look into this too.
Please find user guides for Ian’s Session here:
1 – Introducing Jenison Quizzes Support
2 – Import Jenison Questions
